So, after a few months of wanting to rebuild and refresh my website, today I finally got around to it.
I wanted to go for a very fresh clean look as my last website had a little too much animation and I think it was a little busy. I've kept some of the same images as they are just beautiful and a perfect fit for the new site.
I hope you enjoy it and it would be great to hear what you think.
Monday 18th and Tuesday 19th March I travelled up to the NEC in Birmingham to take a look around the Photography/Video Show.
This is my third year in a row and 2019 was by far the biggest and best yet. It's a four day event and you certainly need those four days to get around everything. The place is huge!
On the Monday, I went up with my Wife and Father in Law who are both wedding photographers. Go checkout their website here .
There was so much to see and way too much temptation to buy pretty much everything. I did end up buying a Godox V860ii speedlite as I help my Wife and Father in Law with photography from time to time and didn't have a flash.
On the Tuesday I went back up with Matt from The Wedding Station and Grace Studios as well as two other friends in the industry. Matt also runs a YouTube channel called Roto and wanted to do a bit of filming at the show so I offered to help out.
We had a superb day chatting to and filming loads of different companies but the main highlight for me was meeting and saying hello to Jason Lanier, a world renowned portrait and wedding photographer.
He was kind enough to spare a few minutes to have a chat and also to get a quick picture with him. A very nice, down to earth guy.
That's pretty much it for now, I have a wedding fayre at MacDonald Bath Spa this Sunday coming so I will possibly pop a quick post in regarding that.
Adiós for now,
