By booking with Vision Avenue it is understood that the customer has read and fully agreed to all our terms and conditions for hire.
Please note that our terms and conditions and prices are subject to change without prior notice. Any alterations will be made to the website first and these are what must be adhered to.

Booking Fee
A booking fee of £200.00 (£100.00 when in conjunction with the Elite Package) is required to secure the services of 'Vision Avenue' for a specific date. It is therefore non-refundable. 

Following the payment of the booking fee the outstanding balance must be paid in full 30 days prior to the event and 6 weeks prior to the event for booking in conjunction with the Elite Package. Failure to do so will result in ‘Vision Avenue’ not attending your wedding. We aim to contact all our couples during the week of the wedding to confirm everything. If however you have not heard from us 48 hours before your event it is your responsibility to contact us.

Change of date/Cancellations
Should your event be cancelled or postponed for any reason please contact us in writing either by letter or email as soon as possible (minimum of 6 months notice before your event).  Provided a minimum of 6 months notice has been given, then any booking fees paid can be transferred to a new date within 2 Years of cancelling at no additional cost. As a result when you cancel, an email will be sent to you asking for your details to be kept on file so we can confirm payments have been made. If you do not wish for your details to be kept on file then all information we hold on you will be completely removed from our system and all payments made lost. This means they cannot be transferred to a new date. If you choose to cancel your event and not keep your details on file then as detailed above your booking fee is non refundable and will therefore be lost at the point of cancellation. If further payments have been made towards your booking, a further fee of £50.00 will be retained to cover additional admin costs (making the total loss £250.00). Any remaining payments will then be refunded, (please note refunds may take up to 30 days). Unfortunately any cancellations within 60 days of an event will result in no refund being given and payment still being required in full.

Permission is hereby given by yourselves for ‘Vision Avenue’ to provide video coverage for both you and all your guests on your wedding day. Any and all footage captured and videos created will remain the copyright of ‘Vision Avenue’ and no copies made without our written consent. We do not offer raw footage to couples or third parties.

Data Storage & Duration
All personal data including videos will be stored on GDPR compliant systems which at present include Tave, Webflow, Vimeo and Google Drive. Any hard copies of information held will be stored securely at an alarmed location under lock and key to ensure data privacy.  All data and finished videos will be kept on file and / or a storage device by ‘Vision Avenue’ for 1 year after the date of the wedding.  Any videos uploaded to GDPR compliant websites for the purposes of digital downloads (if included in your package) will also be available for 1 year after your event. After this period all personal information including videos will be destroyed.  However if permission has been given for your videos to be used for advertising purposes etc then edited films may still exist on social media sites and may be retained for advertising purposes indefinitely. No RAW footage will be held. Signed permissions forms/contracts will be kept indefinitely.

Deleting Personal Data
You have the right to request a copy of any personal information we hold on you, please just get in touch. Should you request that the information we hold be removed then all reasonable measures will be taken to remove any data we hold as quickly as possible.

In the unlikely event of circumstances beyond our control resulting in ‘Vision Avenue’ being unable to attend your event, (such as adverse weather conditions, accident or illness) we reserve the right to appoint an alternative videographer to attend your wedding on our behalf and capture the event to the best of their ability. If you do not wish to have this videographer attend then ‘Vision Avenue’ will be deemed to have met their commitment and no refund of the booking fee will be offered. However if we are not able to provide alternative coverage a full refund will be given, but no compensation will be offered.

Any complaints should be raised by the client in writing within 21 days of the issue arising. Any complaint should be handled directly between the client and company and not published to any 3rd parties either privately or publicly on social media etc. Any such publication will result in an instant forfeit of any replacement/compensation etc. All issues will be dealt with promptly and swiftly to the best of our ability.  In the unlikely event that an issue cannot be solved an alternative substitute or compensation will be provided at the discretion of the company.

Rules / Regulations & Licences.
Some venues, vicars or registrars have rules and restrictions regarding filming. Therefore it is your responsibility to notify those who are taking your service and co-ordinating your wedding of our attendance and confirm if and what filming they allow. Also to obtain permission from anyone performing either verbally or musically (Please note that some venues may impose additional fees as a result). We have all music licenses etc that we required to film. Such regulations may restrict where we can film, place equipment or prevent filming altogether.  We may also be unable to take footage if the official photographer is unwilling to allow filming while they work. As a result we cannot be liable for any footage we are unable to obtain or the subsequent reduced length of your final product as a result. We aim to work alongside your official photographer and follow events as they occur. We are therefore not in control of the situation or setting which may lead to poor lighting, obstructions and noise interference and cannot be held responsible.

Final Product
We do not guarantee a set length for any finished products. Most feature films run between 25-35 minutes and most highlight films between 3-5 minutes but this depends on the type of wedding, length of speeches, number of guests and the opportunities we are given to film. All finished products will be produced to our highest quality based on the footage we can obtain and will try to incorporate your music request where appropriate. If no requests have been made we reserve the right to use our own discretion. Unfortunately, ‘Vision Avenue’  cannot be liable for any quality issues beyond our control such as weather, poor lighting, sound interference or venue restrictions. All edits are subjective and we use our professional expertise and discretion to ensure that the significant parts of the day are captured and used in your finished products. We do not promise to capture every part of your day and retain artistic licence for any and all edits. We advise all couples to view examples of our work to familiarise themselves with our style before booking. We will do our best to incorporate any ideas or requests for the video where possible if they are made in writing in advance of the wedding but we cannot guarantee they will be included.

Digital Download Or USB
Our aim is to have all finished products complete within 12-14 weeks of the wedding. If this process takes longer you will be notified. Upon receiving your product if there are any faults or playback issues you must notify us with 7 days and we will make every reasonable attempt to correct the issue or arrange for replacements where necessary.
